“Buddies has opened the door to be with young people both with and without learning difficulties he gets so excited when a buddies session is coming up and is always very animated on his return” – Buddies Parent

We have two Buddies groups in West Sussex which provide a range of evening and holiday activities for teenagers in Horsham and Crawley with disabilities. They are supported by volunteers of their own age group who provide friendship and support for all their activities.

We can take referrals direct from parents or key professionals. Once a referral has been received, our local Co-ordinator will arrange a home visit so they can meet the young person and get more information about what activities they enjoy doing. Once this membership process is complete, we will send out the latest activities programme which can be returned with their preferences and availability.
